Jubilee Training Centre is an educational institution with a difference. Have you ever heard of Bible-based training where students bungee jump, go ‘caving’, put together from scratch and present a professional ‘Fashion Show’, bang pots and pans in worship and refurbish an old Land Rover? Well, welcome to Jubilee Training Centre.
Why
Character development is our primary focus; people don’t fall out of their walk with God and the Christian ministry because their gifts fail them, but rather because their character is not able to support them. We emphasise leadership training, sound biblical doctrine and excellence in service which leads to equipping and releasing individuals to impact lives, communities and nations.
How
Teachings are generally presented by the leadership of Church of the Nations, Jubilee Church, national and international speakers by invitation. Although we do many Theology and Biblical subjects, together with Management, Finances, numerous set books and projects, we always follow with practical training and evaluation. This is carefully and purposefully designed to put the students under pressure to expand their capacity spiritually, emotionally and physically. We start with 2 weeks of orientation to build team unity and to stretch the physical and mental boundaries to uncover each students’ true capacity. Students share accommodation with their course leaders which assists in ongoing discipleship and mentoring on an individual and personal basis. The fruit of this process has been phenomenal as students who embrace the process have allowed God to work with and through them.
Who
Students have a variety of backgrounds, nationalities, languages and ages. From past years, the majority of students have been 18 to 30 years with many married couples who attend the courses together. The courses are ideal for young people who are just leaving school or for people who are at a turning point in their lives and in search of a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Each course has a maximum capacity of 20 students to ensure 1 to 1 discipleship.
Where
Five properties in Maidstone, England serve as our accommodation for the students with our classes being presented in numerous locations across Maidstone. Students are exposed to practical training across the United Kingdom with local and international missions available throughout the year.
When
The courses run every academic year from September to July. Applications close in the middle of August or when the course is full.
